Refrigeration Automation
Much of my system experience has been in the design, programming and commissioning of industrial building refrigeration systems. This included large processing facilities and cold storage warehouses. With hazardous refrigerants and perishable product, it was imperative to provide a reliable and error free control system. During the installation of these systems, it was my responsibility to coordinate with the project manager, refrigeration contractor and the electrician to insure the physical system was installed according to plan. These systems included both new construction and refrigeration upgrades. Careful planning was required during the commissioning of upgraded control systems in order to insure minimum system downtime. The mission critical nature of these installations provided a perfect opportunity to demonstrate the attention to detail and systems validation required in today’s complex control systems.
Control Product Distribution
Much of my career has been spent working for industrial control distributors as an application engineer, a trainer, a salesperson and as a manager. The experience gave me the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of industries and projects. It also provided me the opportunity to attend professional training courses for a diverse array of products. I was also factory certified by OMRON as a PLC trainer. I have become familiar with the automation processes for a multitude of industries. This experience includes textile, chemical, plastics, pharmaceutical, automotive, food, military, aerospace, and entertainment industries.
